What is OTU Transponder?
Transponders are used to enable point-to-point connections over long distances when the client rate matches the optical wavelength. In cases where the client rates are lower than the optical wavelength.
What is Muxponder?
A muxponder is the element that sends and receives the optical signal on a fiber in much the same way as a transponder except that the muxponder has the additional functionality of multiplexing multiple sub-rate client interfaces onto the line interface.

100G QSFP28 to CFP Coherent Transponder Functional Structure
This 100G QSFP28 to CFP Coherent DWDM transponder supports 1x 100G service access, adopts advanced technologies such as PDM-QPSK modulation and coherent reception, and overcomes the OSNR requirements, CD tolerance, and PMD tolerance of high-speed transmission systems.
And the nonlinear physical effects of transmission, such as 100G service 1200 km or more of non-electrical relay transmission, and the line-side interface supports C-band 96-wave (50 GHz) adjustable.
