4 channel CWDM Mux Demux LGX Module LC/UPC Dual Fiber
CWDM Mux Demux is a flexible, low-cost solution that enables the expansion of existing fiber capacity. The CWDM stands for Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing which is defined by with CWDM ITU Grid G.694.2 with listing 18 wavelengths from 1270nm to 1610nm with a channel spacing of 20 nm. Our Mux/Demux CWDM is based on TFF ( Thin Film Filter ) technology which has low insertion loss, high channel isolation, flat passband to enable cascading CWDM filters.
This 4 channel CWDM mux demux module rack allows you to multiplex/demultiplex eight separate channels into one pair of fiber by using CWDM colored transceivers 1000Base CWDM SFP, 10G CWDM SFP+, 25G SFP28 CWDM and 40G CWDM etc.
And the main advantage of CWDM Mux Demux is its passive nature – no power supply or cooling necessary, robustness – no special micro-climate requirements and as passive element, it has MTBF 100+ Years and it's transparent to any rate, any service multiplexing and upgrade, such applications as 1G/10G/25G Ethernet, SDH/SONET and 8/4/2/1G Fiber Channel.
Our CWDM module is enable to equipped with a monitor port that allows you to attach a power meter, OTDR or an optical spectrum analyzer to assist you in monitoring and troubleshooting the CWDM network. Moreover, we also offer an expansion port that is used to add or expand more wavelengths or CWDM channels to the network.
This CWDM Mux and Demux LGX module only occupy one slot of 1U 19'' rack mount for increasing the utilization rate of rack chassis and flexiable mixed hybrid CWDM module installation.
